Portland’s 142nd Fighter Wing will conduct flyovers during Veterans Day ceremonies throughout northwest Oregon on Monday.
The F-15 Eagle fighter jets will pass over the holiday events at about 1,000 feet above ground level, according to the Oregon Military Department. They’ll be flying approximately 400 mph.
The flyovers are scheduled as follows:
- 10:30 a.m. - Tillamook Air Museum
- 11:11 a.m. - University of Portland
- 11:40 a.m. - Capital Manor retirement community in Salem
- 12 p.m. - Canby Vietnam Era Veterans’ Memorial
