(The Oregonian/OregonLive)

A Portland woman was killed in Troutdale early Friday when the car in which she was a passenger crashed on the Historic Columbia River Highway.

Sarah Pearson, 21, was declared dead by first responders when they arrived at the scene at about 4 a.m., the Multnomah County Sheriff's Office said. The driver, Noah Boege, 18, suffered minor injuries.

Boege was arrested and charged with manslaughter, reckless driving, reckless endangerment and DUII, the sheriff's office said. The agency also said speed was a factor in the crash.
