Father of man fatally shot in NE Portland park offers $30,000 reward

Cody Oller

The father of man fatally shot in a Northeast Portland park last winter is offering a $30,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in the case, the Portland Police Bureau said Friday.

Cody B. Oller, 25, was found dead of gunshot wound in Fernhill Park on Jan. 8 near the entrance on Northeast 37th Avenue and Ainsworth Street, police said.

Neighbors reported hearing gunshots just after 9:30 p.m. The Multnomah County Medical Examiner's Office ruled Oller's death a homicide.

Authorities, who first asked the public for help in late January, say no suspects hasve emerged.

Anyone with information is asked to call Detective Scott Broughton at 503-823-3774 or Scott.Broughton@portlandoregon.gov.
