Recruiting: Oregon Ducks hosting 2 5-star prospects this weekend

The Oregon Ducks football and men's basketball programs are hosting a small collection of recruits this weekend, but the group is highlighted by two five-star prospects and one of the nation's best linebackers.

Here's the list of recruiting visitors expected to be on campus:

4* LB Dishawn Misa (Sammamish, Washington; 2022)

Eastside Catholic, arguably the best high school football team in Washington state history, are playing Central Catholic in HIllsboro on Friday night.

Several of their kids hold national offers, and it's possible a few more Eastside Catholic football players decide to head to Eugene at the last minute.

Top-10 tight end D.J. Rogers considered making the trip, but confirmed he will not be taking a visit.

That won't stop 247Sports four-star linebacker Dishawn Misa, the nation's No. 3 inside linebacker in the class of 2022.

Washington is loaded over the next few classes and Oregon would like nothing more than to build a pipeline to its neighbor to the North.

Misa is an excellent target to watch going forward.

3* DE/OLB Bradyn Swinson (Douglasville, Georgia)

247Sports three-star defensive end/outside linebacker Bradyn Swinson holds offers from double-digit programs, highlighted by Arizona, Arizona State, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Michigan State, Minnesota, Oregon, Pittsburgh and others.

The 6-foot-4, 245-pound jumbo athlete, rated the nation's No. 35 defensive end, has set a commitment date for September 20th and his trip to Oregon could seal his decision for good - one way or another.

5* SF Scottie Barnes (Montverde, Florida)

Five-star small forward Scottie Barnes, a rumored Oregon lean, is making his visit the same weekend as a potential five-star teammate.

Barnes is a long, uber-athletic 6-foot-8, 210-pound perimeter player with offers from Florida State, Kansas, Kentucky, Miami (Fla.), Ohio State and several others.

He is the nation's No. 8 overall prospect.

5* G Jalen Green (Napa, California)

Consensus five-star combo guard Jalen Green recently released his official visit schedule on Instagram, which would seem to unofficially trim his list to a final five of Auburn, Kentucky, Memphis and Oregon with USC getting an early trip as well.

While rumored to be a Memphis or Kentucky recruit for months, a recent report has indicated Oregon may have emerged as a new favorite.

"Outside of this Kentucky's standing with the elite guard prospect, I continue to hear that the buzz surrounding Memphis and the fact that they are seen by national analysts as a lock isn't true in the slightest," Kentucky Sports Radio's Jack Pilgrim wrote. "In fact, I was told this afternoon that Oregon may now be the school to beat, with Kentucky and Memphis following close behind in that order."

A Green-Barnes pairing would be the best recruiting duo in program history.
