Oregon Taco Bell drive-thru customer gives worker swig of Hennessy, is arrested by deputy behind her, police say

A Cornelius woman in the drive-thru of a Beaverton-area Taco Bell poured Hennessy cognac into the mouth of an employee -- then was arrested by a Washington County Sheriff’s sergeant who happened to be behind her in line, authorities say.

The sergeant was right behind a car driven by Elianna Aguilar-Aguilar about 1:20 a.m. Saturday at the fast-food restaurant near Southwest 185th Avenue and Walker Road. The driver reached out the car window and poured the bottle of cognac into the mouth of an apparently willing employee, according to county sheriff’s office spokesman Deputy Brian van Kleef.

The sergeant followed Aguilar-Aguilar, 23, out of the parking lot and pulled her over along 185th, van Kleef said. Two passengers were in the car.

“We talked to the employee after, and he said most of it was spilled on him and that he actually didn’t consume the Hennessy,” van Kleef said. The driver and employee didn’t know each other.

Aguilar-Aguilar was booked into the county jail on suspicion of driving under the influence of intoxicants. She had been released as of Tuesday, jail records show.

While in jail, Aguilar-Aguilar was determined to have blood alcohol content of .12 percent, higher than the state limit of .08 percent.
