PASSENGERS awaiting trains at Oxfordshire stations have been disrupted today by a fault on the line.
A signalling issue between Bicester North and Banbury caused a raft of delays and cancellations this morning, both on Chiltern Railways and Great Western Railway services.

Network Rail's website states: "A fault with the signalling system between Banbury and Oxford / Bicester North is causing disruption to journeys between these stations.
"Services may be cancelled, delayed or revised."
It was originally hoped that the issue would be fixed by 10am, but problems are now expected to continue until 2pm.

A bus shuttle service will run between Bicester North and Banbury, and passengers can use their tickets on:
- CrossCountry between Banbury and Birmingham
- London Buses via 'any reasonable route'
- Virgin Trains between London Euston and Birmingham New Street
- West Midlands Trains via 'any reasonable route'

Of the departure list between 7am and 9am at Banbury station, three trains were logged as late and six as cancelled.
At both Bicester North and Bicester Village, two services were listed as running late.
Between 8am and 9am at Oxford station, Network Rail listed two services as late and three as cancelled.
