These days it seems that artisan beer brewing has never been more popular in Oxfordshire.
New microbreweries are popping up all the time and home kits are all the rage.
With that in mind, we took a look back at the proud history of brewing and breweries in the county – not least Oxford's beloved and sorely-missed Morrell's Brewery which closed in 1998.
We especially enjoyed the photo of Morrell's head brewer giving the MD a first taste of his 1981 Royal Wedding Ale celebrating the nuptials of Charles and Diana.
