A PLAN to knock down two houses and replace them with flats just off a key Oxford roundabout has got the go-ahead.
City councillors decided to allow the nine-flat development in Banbury Road, just off the Cutteslowe Roundabout.
It will create three three-bedroom flats, five two-bedroom flats and one one-bedroom flat. All of them will be sold on the market because developers successfully argued it would make their project unviable to use any as affordable housing.
The development will also have a 10-space car park. Soon, developments like it will not be able to have car parks if they lie close to shops and public transport routes.
