A 30-year-old is in hospital after his car left the road and crashed into a fence.
At around 12.50am on Sunday a dark grey coloured Audi A3 was travelling along Watlington Road, towards Chiselhampton, when it left the road and crashed into a wooden fence stopping in a hedgerow.
The crash happened between Kiln Lane and Pettiwell.
The driver, aged 30, was rushed to the John Radcliffe Hospital with a serious head injury.
Now police are appealing for any witnesses that saw or heard anything vital to piecing together what happened that night.
Investigating officer Sergeant Daniel Collett said: "I am appealing for any witnesses or information relating to this incident, which resulted in a man sustaining serious head injuries requiring hospital treatment.
"Although it took place at night, I believe that there could be witnesses who will have seen or heard something relating to this incident.
"I would like to ask anyone in the area to think about whether they saw this dark grey coloured Audi A3 in the area prior to this collision."
Anybody who saw something is asked to call police on 101 quoting 43200152981.
