TENNIS: North Oxford edged out in doubles shoot-out
NORTH Oxford were edged out in a deciding doubles shoot-out at Winchester in the National League Team Championships.
Having won in the same vein a week previously, fortunes were reversed in the South West Division.
The match was level after four singles and two doubles rubbers.
With the singles shoot-outs shared, it went down to the doubles, where Jack Rooney and Ben Calnan were narrowly beaten 10-7.
