SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), a recent outbreak in salmonella has been linked to ground beef.
The CDC says more than 100 retailers, including chain retail locations and local stores, sold the recalled beef.
One store the beef was linked to was one in Springfield: Lucky’s Market on South Glenstone Ave.
Buyers are encouraged to throw the beef away and contact a healthcare provider if you think you are sick from eating the recalled beef.
