Drive-in movies are one of the few socially distant entertainment options available to people this summer, and many theaters are trying to shift to accommodate the outdoor format.

One such theater, Harrisburg’s Midtown Cinema, has announced their Carpool Cinema events, which will be held outdoors at the Farm Show Complex.

Screenings of two beloved Steven Spielberg films will be held in August: “Jurassic Park” will be screened on August 8 (rain date of August 9), and “E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial” will be shown on August 29 (rain date August 30). Both movies will have matinee showings at 4 p.m. as well as evening showings at 8 p.m.
