This week, Macy’s announced that it would be closing its store at the Harrisburg Mall in Swatara Township.

The closing of the three-floor department store, which sits on the front of the property, will leave a large, visible vacancy at the shopping center on Paxton Street. But the impending closing of Macy’s, the mall’s largest store and one of the largest stores in the Harrisburg region, is far from the mall’s only vacancy.
