Pedestrian killed in Harrisburg ID’d

Harrisburg police have released the identity of the 65-year-old woman who was killed when she was struck by a vehicle Friday evening at N. 7th and Dauphin streets.

Harrisburg police have identified the 65-year-old woman who died when she was struck by a vehicle Friday evening.

Police say Phyllice Taylor was killed when she was struck around 7:13 p.m. on N. 7th and Dauphin streets. Police say she is from the Harrisburg area, but is not a city resident.

The driver of the striking vehicle remained at the scene, police say.

The police traffic safety unit responded to the scene and is investigating.
