Harrisburg police respond to reported shooting

Harrisburg police are at a crime scene in the 1200 block of South 13th St.

Harrisburg police responded to the 1200 block of South 13th Street for a report of two people shot.

Harrisburg police spokesman Capt. Gabe Olivera confirmed two people were wounded and taken to an area hospital for treatment. The extent of their injuries was not immediately known.

Harrisburg police put police tape around the front of De La Cruz grocery store at 1229 S. 13th Street. It was not clear whether the incident happened inside or outside the store.

Antwoine Burnett, of Harrisburg, said he called his brother, Baasil Shepprd, to learn that his brother was one of the people who had been shot. Burnett said his brother is in stable condition.

No further details were immediately available.
