Police have identified the victim in a Lancaster City shooting as 44-year-old Anthony Marshall of Harrisburg.

Police said officers were dispatched to the 600 block of Lafayette Street in Lancaster around 12:36 a.m. Sunday and found two shooting victims in the area.

Marshall was found in the first block of Laurel Street, while a 25-year-old Lancaster man was found in the 700 block of Manor street, police said. Both had fled from the shooting scene, police said.

Marshall had a gunshot wound to the torso, police said, and died at the hospital as a result of the his injuries.

The 25-year-old man was shot in the shoulder, and was treated for non-life threatening injuries. He has not been identified by police.

Marshall’s family put together a GoFundMe for funeral expenses, saying he was in the process of rebuilding his life and his job didn’t provide life insurance.
