More than two dozen sexual abuse charges filed against Harrisburg man

Juan Antiono Fuentes, 47, is accused of sexually abusing to two over the course of 12 years.

A Harrisburg man was arrested on Wednesday, accused of sexually abusing two girls over the course of a 12 year period.

Juan Antonio Fuentes, 47, was charged with 29 sexual assault offenses in connection with allegations made by two females, both of whom say the abuse began when they were 10 or younger.

The first girl, who is currently 17, told investigators that Fuentes had sexually abused her at several locations throughout the Harrisburg area, according to court documents. She said the assaulted occurred when she was between 4 and 16 years old.

The second accuser, who is now 21, told police she had been sexually assaulted by Fuentes when she was between the ages of 10 and 15, according to court documents. These assaults also occurred at differently locations around Harrisburg.

In both cases, the girls told police they were raped and made to engage in several different sexual acts with Fuentes, according to court documents.

Police said the assaults occurred between January 2006 and December 2018.

Fuentes is charged with multiple counts of the following charges: involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, rape of a child, rape by forcible compulsion, indecent assault of a person younger than 13, indecent assault of a person younger than 16, corruption of minors, aggravated indecent assault and inappropriate contact with a minor - sexual offenses, according to online court documents.

Fuentes is being held at Dauphin County Prison on $100,000 bail, according to court dockets.
