Two men shot in Harrisburg on Memorial Day

Two people were shot early in the morning in Harrisburg on Memorial Day.

Harrisburg Police said that the individuals were shot around 3:30 a.m. at Kittatinny and Hummel streets.

Two individuals were shot and both people were taken to local hospitals for treatment. Both people were conscious and alert, and both are expected to survive, according to Harrisburg Police Sergeant Kyle Gautsch.

The shooting is connected to other police activity at the same time at 13th Street, and 14th and Berryhill streets, according to WGAL.

The investigation is ongoing and police have not made any arrests in the case.
