Second suspect arrested in burglary at Harrisburg-area gun shop

The second suspect wanted in an attempted early morning burglary at 717 Armory in May was arrested.

Swatara Township Police detectives arrested Marcos Adres Diaz-Marquez on Friday. The 18-year-old, along with a 17-year-old, is accused of breaking into the gun shop around 3:15 a.m. on May 29.

The owner of the store, located in the 7500 block of Derry Street, said he checked on his business when he heard the store’s alarm. When he arrived, he saw a crime was in progress, which is when he called 911. He apprehended the 17-year-old.

All firearms that were taken during the burglary have been recovered, police said. The teenagers are facing several charges including burglary.
