I’m Nate Bruce, and I’m about to tell you where I’ll spend the next four years of my life, playing college football and furthering my education.

But, first, I want to tell you about me.

I’m just a kid from Uptown Harrisburg, and all my life I’ve been told I’m one-of-one. That went for every aspect of my life, but this wasn’t just my plan. I truly feel like this was God’s plan. And this decision is a life-changer.

I’ve made good decisions. I’ve made bad decisions. But, I feel like, I’ve almost always made the right decision in life.

I know some people wish for moments like this, and some people work their entire lives for it. I’ve been lucky in that sense. After just two years of football, this seems like a miracle to me. But football has also been one of the most important and powerful things in my life the past two years, and I know I can play with the best Division I talent that there is. And the challenge of doing that only adds fuel to my fire and makes me want more.

As I prepare for that challenge, I also realize that I’ve had a lot of great schools recruiting me. And, it’s great to have all of them showing faith in me, but, in the end, I can only choose one.

And that leads me to today.

I want to thank everyone who has been with me through all of this. I want to thank all of the schools who believed in me. I’ve talked this over with my family, coaches and, most importantly, I’ve given this a great deal of thought.

And I’m ready.

So, today, I am officially announcing that I am 100-percent committed to Penn State University!
