Four Peterborough men arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after stabbing in city

A man who suffered life threatening injuries when he was stabbed in Peterborough yesterday remains in a serious condition in hospital.

Four men from Peterborough have now been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following the incident in Fengate yesterday morning (Wednesday 28 May).

Police were called by the ambulance service at about 10.30am with reports of a man with multiple stab wounds.

The victim, a man in his 30s, was taken to hospital where he remains in a serious but stable condition.

Four men, aged 18, 34, 35 and 48, were all arrested yesterday. The 35 and 48-year-old men have been bailed to return to Thorpe Wood Police Station on 23 June, the 18-year-old will answer bail the following day. The 34-year-old man remains in police custody.
