Halsey just eviscerated Katie Hopkins, ‘one of the most intolerable human beings on earth’, and it’s a work of art

Katie Hopkins Halsey Black Lives Matter

Sorry, Katie Hopkins can’t come to the phone right now – she’s busy being absolutely torn to pieces by bisexual singer Halsey.

Halsey has been keeping herself busy by protesting against police brutality and the racism endured by Black people everyday in the United States and across the world.

She is one of thousands of people who have taken to the streets to show their outrage and horror following the brutal killing of Black man George Floyd, who died after a white police officer knelt on his neck for several minutes.

Halsey called Katie Hopkins one of ‘the most intolerable human beings on earth’.

Meanwhile, Hopkins – who once described African migrants crossing the Mediterranean as “cockroaches” – has decided to use this pivotal time to offer her opinion, apparently believing she is still relevant.

The far-right commentator has been tweeting about the protests and claimed in a column for Front Page Mag that demonstrators in the UK are looking across the Atlantic with “envy”.

Her face provoked an unbridled rage in me. I just. Absolutely. Need to get that out.

She went on to link Black Lives Matter protests to Brexit and coronavirus, because they obviously couldn’t be about the brutal racism endured by Black people everyday.

And it’s safe to say Halsey is having none of it – the pop star offered a few choice words about Hopkins on Twitter.

“Katie Hopkins is up there with the most intolerable human beings on Earth,” she tweeted.

“Her face provoked an unbridled rage in me. I just. Absolutely. Need to get that out,” she added.

The bisexual pop star was hit with a rubber bullet while protesting against police brutality.

Halsey’s stunning put-down comes after she revealed she was fired at and gassed by police while protesting in Los Angeles last weekend.

Footage recorded by Halsey showed police hurling gas canisters and pelting protesters with rubber bullets – with the 25-year-old musician among those hit.

People across the world have organised protests and demonstrations in solidarity with Black people in the United States.

Alongside the brutal killing of George Floyd is the shocking death of Black trans man Tony McDade, who was shot dead by a white police officer in North Florida on May 27.

Police have not yet released the name of the offending officer in that case.
