SOUTH BRUNSWICK, N.J. — A South Brunswick man was struck and killed while riding a bicycle in a hit-and-run Friday night, officials said Saturday.

Ronald Vonthun, 49, was riding on Route 522 in South Brunswick between Georges Road and Kingston Lane when he was struck at around 10″06 p.m., according to the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office.

Officials said Saturday they’re searching for the driver, who fled the scene.

Vonthun was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
