There are long delays on the A38 in Cornwall this afternoon, after two lorries crashed near Bodmin Parkway.

Traffic and roads monitoring service Inrix first reported the incident at 15:48.

The website's 15:54 update reports that road is just passable and police are directing traffic around the crash scene.

The update reads: "A38 just passable, very slow traffic due to accident, two lorries involved near Bodmin Parkway Train Station. Police directing traffic.

"Traffic is taking it in turns to pass the scene.

"Affecting traffic travelling between Bodmin and Liskeard."

It is not yet known if anybody has been injured in the crash.
