Send us photos of the view from your window during lockdown

Lockdown has brought with it many challenges.

Where once we worried about loo roll (and other) shortages, today the debate has moved on to the long term effects for the economy and on the massive educational impact on an entire generation of school-age children.

One of the side effects of enforced stay-at-home time is how important our windows have become as a way of keeping in touch with the world outside.

Earlier this month, Plymouth Live launched These Four Walls - our campaign to inform, educate and share important and inspiring stories from the coronavirus lockdown. As part of this, we now encourage you to share your own experiences via the view from your windows.

When you make yourself that first cup of coffee in the morning, what do you see? Is it a comfortingly familiar back garden, a panoramic view over the water or the side of your neighbour’s house?  Are you a people watcher, or someone who is happier observing the gradual return of birds and butterflies to our gardens?

We want to hear from you! Send us your photographs and we'll publish them on Plymouth Live - and they might even make it not our sister paper The Herald.
