Two men have been arrested for assault after police were called to a late night brawl in a city centre pub.
Officers were alerted to the large brawl in the Newmarket Tavern in Market Way involving several people - including men and woman - shortly before midnight on Friday evening.
A number of response officers attended the pub, which neighbours the new Aspire block, where two men aged 30 and 31 were arrested on suspicion of assault. Both men remain in police custody and are awaiting interview.

A number of other men are understood to have fled the scene and police have told Plymouth Live they are currently hunting two men wanted in connection with the melee.
