Plymouth Argyle had to come from behind three times to pick up a point from their bottom-of-the-table League One clash against Bradford City at Home Park.

The Pilgrims created far more chances than Bradford as they produced some good attacking football.

However, City profited from some dreadful Argyle defending with two goals from Jack Payne and another from George Miller.

In the end, it took a 73rd minute equaliser from the Pilgrims' top scorer Freddie Ladapo to earn them a draw.

PLYMOUTH ARGYLE (4-2-3-1)

1 Matt Macey - 5

Bradford's first two goals came after the on-loan Arsenal keeper made initial saves but could not push the ball out of danger. Produced an important late stop from George Miller

2 Joe Riley - 5

Struggled defensively at times, but the right-back was no exception there. Showed some good attacking intent, though, linking up well with Graham Carey

5 Ryan Edwards - 4

Returned to the first team after seven weeks out due to illness. His miscontrol of the ball led to Bradford's early opening goal and set the tone for Argyle's woeful defensive display

14 Niall Canavan - 4

Was guilty of some poor decision-making at times and struggled to cope with the pace of Bradford's counter attacks

23 Ashley Smith-Brown - 5

Always willing to push forward but still needs to work on the defensive side of the game. His place at left-back will be under threat now Gary Sawyer has returned to fitness

4 Yann Songo'o - 4

Switched to a midfield holding role from centre-back because of an injury to Jamie Ness. Gave the ball away far too often but made one vital late block inside his own box

8 David Fox - 7

The captain got on the ball well for Argyle, driving them forward, and went close to scoring on a couple of occasions

10 Graham Carey - 7

Was busy on and off the ball, combining creativity with determination. Hit the post with a free-kick in the first half and his corner delivery was better

7 Antoni Sarcevic - 7

Gave good support to striker Freddie Ladapo playing in the 'number 10' role behind him and made his share of ball-winning tackles too

16 Joel Grant - 8

Looked to attack the Bradford defence whenever he got on the ball and came up with Argyle's second equaliser, albeit a fortunate one

19 Freddie Ladapo - 7

Took his goal tally for the season to 12 in all competitions with his two opportunist close range strikes, including the equaliser which made it 3-3
