Preston North End will host Premier League side Southampton at Deepdale this summer.
The Saints will come to Deepdale on Saturday 20th July for a 3pm kick-off, in the first home game of the pre-season schedule.
It will be the first time the Lilywhites have faced Southampton in almost eight years and will pose a good test for the boys ahead of the start of the 2019/20 Championship campaign.
The confirmation of this fixture sees the pre-season schedule almost complete, with the club looking to confirm one further friendly in due course.
