The Portland Sketch Comedy Festival
For the third straight year, the Siren Theater transforms into a sketch comedy mecca for three days, with performances from hilarious sketch acts from all over the country, as well as homegrown sketch genius right here in Portland. Each show is $12, but you can save money with a 4 show pass ($40) or by nabbing yourself an all show pass, granting access to every last sketch for $95. Featuring Seattle's Maple Daddies and Day Job, Vancouver, B.C.'s Soda Fountain, L.A.'s Pure & Weary, NYC's Kids These Days and Milwaukee!, and Portland's own D&D, Juicebox, Spectravagasm, and the Aces.

The Portland Queer Comedy Festival
The Portland Queer Comedy Festival returns for a third straight year, bringing five days laughs from LGBTQ+ comedians from near and far to the Funhouse Lounge and Theatre and associated satellite sites throughout the city. Headliners for 2019 include Scott Thompson (Kids in the Hall), Nico Santos (Superstore, Crazy Rich Asians), D'lo (Transparent, Sense 8), Dewayne Perkins (The Break with Michelle Wolf, Wild N Out), Erin Foley (Comedy Central Presents, Conan), and more. Eddie Izzard
The legendary English comedian and actor returns with Wunderbar, marking his first Portland performance since his massive Force Majeure tour rolled through town in 2015. (Mon-Tues, July 1-2, 8 pm, Keller Auditorium, $50.25-67.25)

An Evening of Comedy Brilliance with Pallavi Gunalan
Relentless Splendor makes good on its name by presenting a night with "comedian and bioengineering badass" Pallavi Gunalan, with support from Corrina Lucas, Nariko Ott, and Ellen Doyle. Hosted by Riley McCarthy and Carson Crashley IV. (Tues July 2, 8:30 pm, Suki's Bar & Grill, $5)

The I, Anonymous Show
The long-running Portland Mercury column “I, Anonymous” is famous for allowing readers to send in their most whacked-out rants and confessions—anonymously and without being judged. NO LONGER! In The I, Anonymous Show, host Kate Murphy (a 2018 Mercury Genius of Comedy) will read some of the wildest, uncensored “I, Anonymous” submissions ever, which will then be judged by our hilarious jury, who might end up sharing some confessions of their own! D.L. Hughley
Fresh off the release of his 2018 Netflix special Contrarian, the Original Kings of Comedy legend and star of the ABC sitcom The Hughleys takes a break from hosting his new morning show to bring his politically-informed stand-up to Portland for a ful-slate of performances at Helium. Dear Diary
An improv show dedicated to taking all those things you put in your diary during your tween years, and loosing them upon the stage in the most hilarrible ways. This month's guest diarist is Hallie Zmroczek of the improv duo Secret Cervix and the Bottle Blondes Wine podcast. (Thurs July 11, 7:30 pm, Kickstand Comedy Space, $7-10)

Jason Mewes
Snoochie boochies, Portland! The vocal half of "Jay and Silent Bob" is bringing his "A-Mewes-ing Stories" Tour to town to share his tales, anecdotes, and jokes as part of a two-night stand at Helium. (Fri-Sat July 12-13, 7:30 pm & 10 pm, Helium Comedy Club, $25-45)

Frankie Quiñones
Revolution Hall presents an all-ages show with stand-up comedian Frankie Quiñones, best known for his alter ego Creeper, a reformed cholo turned fitness guru, along with a wide array of other characters that transform his act into a one-man variety show.

Spec Script: Rick & Morty
This local comedy podcast returns to Kelly's to get schwifty with an original, unofficial teleplay for Rick & Morty by humorist Ella Gale, as performed by Natalie Hadad, Elizabeth Teets, Randall Lawrence, Carolyn Main, Jonathan Rowell, Gary Butterfield, Allyson Koplin, and more. Hosted by Chris Khatami & Shane Hosea, with stand-up following the performance. (Sun July 14, 7 pm, Kelly's Olympian, $5)

Whitmer Thomas
An evening of stand-up with the Los Angeles-based comedian and actor who has appeared in The Good Place, The Walking Dead, Glow, and You're The Worst, was featured as a New Face at Just For Laughs in Montreal, and is currently putting the finishing touches on The Golden One, his Bo Burnham-produced hour special/documentary. (Mon July 15, 8 pm, Mississippi Studios, $15)

Miles McKenna
The popular YouTube content creator known for the comedic videos and vlog entries posted to his MilesChronicles channel brings the "Stuck in 2005" Tour to Portland. Experience an interactive performance, featuring lip sync battles, onstage challenges, and hear never before told stories. (Tues July 16, 8 pm, Lola's Room, $30, all ages)

The Adventure Zone Graphic Novel Live
Travis and Clint McElroy bring the acclaimed podcast-turned-graphic novel to life on the Revolution Stage, complete with a live "reading" of an excerpt from the new comic, with an array of special guests playing characters from the story. (Tues July 16, 7 pm, Revolution Hall, $45)

Rex Navarrete
Having headlined Portland's beloved Minority Retort showcase early last year, Filipino comedian Rex Navarrete brings his stand-up back to town for a pair of performances at Helium. (Thurs July 18, 8 pm, Helium Comedy Club, $20-28)

The Golden Girls: Live
A drag send-up of the iconic sitcom, with San Francisco legends Heklina, D'Arcy Drollinger, Matthew Martin, and Holotta Tymes performing the classic episodes "Long Day's Journey Into Marinara" and "Big Daddy's Little Lady", featuring Manuel Cannari as Big Daddy. The Doubleclicks, PDX Broadsides, Megathruster
The Doubleclicks are maybe the single best example of geek-folk potential fully realized, and they're coming back to their old Portland stomping grounds to celebrate the release of their latest LP, The Book Was Better, and they're getting lots of love and support from friends PDX Broadsides and Megathruster. (Sat July 27, 8 pm, Dante's, $10)
