A Rochester man had four pending cases against him dismissed Friday after pleading guilty to a number charges in three other cases.
Souleysi Brandon Singharath, 19, pleaded guilty in Olmsted County District Court to felony charges of threats of violence, fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance, felon convicted crime of violence — firearm violation and second degree burglary of an unoccupied dwelling.
Seven additional charges in those cases were dismissed. Four other cases which included four felony charges and a gross misdemeanor were dismissed Friday, according to court records.
Singharath could likely face concurrent 60-month prison sentences for the felony convictions. He has been in jail since his arrest on July 25 and will remain in jail until sentencing which is scheduled for Dec. 12 in front of Judge Kathy Wallace.
The threats of violence charge stems from a July 25 incident. Singharath threatened to stab a man he knew at a Rochester smoke shop.

On Feb. 7, Singharath broke into a Rochester home and took some money, a laptop and jewelry which resulted in the burglary conviction.
The firearm violation and drug conviction are a result of an arrest for a probation violation. At the time of his February arrest at his mother’s home in Northwest Rochester, Singharath was found with a Smith and Wesson 9mm gun under his pillow and 17 Xanax pills.
Singharath is being represented by attorneys Richard Kimlinger and James McGeeney.
