Ardis Albin -- Rochester

Ardis Albin, age 90, died at Riverbend Memory Care Facility on April 17, 2019. She was born in 1928 and grew up on a farm near Ellendale. Her parents, Johanna and Soren Martin Jensen, were immigrants from Denmark. Ardis was very proud of her Danish heritage. She graduated from Owatonna High School. She married Kenneth Albin in 1950. They were happily married for 67 years until his death.

Ardis was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth, and infant daughter, Debra.

She is survived by her daughters, Susan Rogers and Nancy (Bob) Adams; granddaughters, Meghan (Matt) Callahan and Colleen (Staush) Gruszynski; and great-grandchildren, Mason and Miles Callahan and Margaret Gruszynski. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Leona Albin, and brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Joann Albin.

A celebration of life is planned at a later date. Memorials are preferred to the Ronald McDonald House or Paws and Claws.
