Fiona and Wesley, the pair of Linne's Two-Toed Sloths at the Roger Williams Park Zoo, have a new baby. The zoo is asking for help naming the baby.

What would you name a baby sloth?

For a $5 donation, the Roger Williams Park Zoo is giving you the chance to select the perfect name for its baby two-toed sloth, which was born last month.

There’s one big challenge: “Mama is keeping baby close, so we won't have a gender reveal for a while,” the zoo says on its website.

The baby was born to parents Fiona and Wesley on May 13. The family lives in the Faces of the Rainforest exhibit.

The sloths are native to South America and live most of their lives upside down. They spend about six months in the womb and can cling to their mother from birth. Watch a video of the baby’s first minutes of life here.

The zoo had been closed because of the coronavirus pandemic, but it’s reopening in phases. The zoo will be open for Rhode Island residents only, members and non-members through Sunday. On Monday, it opens to everyone.
