In true "Jenny from the block" fashion, J.Lo wore jeans on the red carpet at the most recent screening of her new movie Hustlers. But of course, these were absolutely not your average, run-of-the-mill jeans. The gray acid-wash style by Balmain features an exaggerated paper-bag waist, cargo side pockets, moto-inspired seams at the knees and more pulls, drawstrings and denim straps than any pair of pants could really need. But those aren't even the craziest things about this particular pair of jeans. No, the craziest part is that they cost $3,495. Oh, and they're also sold out.
She paired them with a matching denim bustier also by Balmain, clear pumps by Jessica Rich (with a five-inch heel, we might add) and gold hoops by Melinda Maria. The look was very in line with what you'd imagine Ramona, her character from the film, might wear to such an event.
It was also in stark contrast to the super-glam gold gown and blunt blonde bob Lopez sported for the movie's Toronto premiere.
Although we can't wait to see what Lopez and the rest of her co-stars wear throughout the actual film, her acting performance has been garnering a ton of praise from both critics and film-festival-goers alike. Do we smell an unexpected Oscar nom in her future?
