We are extremely fortunate to have experienced the first wedding at Reading’s Stirling Guest Hotel under the venue’s new proprietors.

Less than two weeks before my daughter’s wedding, her fiance received a call from Stirling co-owner Cesar Gonzales alerting her that the property was under new management ( “Stirling Guest Hotel changes hands, mission,” Reading Eagle, June 9).

Panic ensued as a wedding had been planned and invitations sent. The uncertainty was concerning, to say the least.

To say that the wedding was perfect is an understatement. This bevy of people on the Stirling staff created the most amazing wedding, one that we shall never forget.

We greatly appreciate everything that was done. Anything we needed was provided. The Stirling staff anticipated our needs and went beyond our requirements.

We are not from the Reading area, but we were so impressed with the history of this transforming city.

Thank you to Cesar and partners Richard Hicks and John Gonzales for preserving the history of this magnificent home and wonderful city.

We shall cherish the memories that this group made possible. The Stirling Guest Hotel is such an asset to this community. We feel fortunate to be a part of the new Stirling legacy.
