ALDEN — A man is dead after a possible hunting accident in Antrim County, Sheriff Dan Bean said.
Bean said the accident took place at about 3:30 p.m. Thursday on East Torch Lake Road near West Elder Road.
Sheriff's deputies and the Michigan State Police responded to the call, which is being investigated by the Michigan Department of Natural Resources.
The DNR did not respond to calls and the MSP Gaylord Post did not have any information on the shooting.
