Vermont, New Hampshire split Twin State soccer games

CASTLETON — Harwood's Will Lapointe broke the ice and the Vermont boys then added an insurance goal during a 2-0 victory over New Hamsphire in Saturday's 45th annual Twin State soccer game at Castleton University.

Aidan Johnson (Champlain Valley Union) posted the shutout in goal. Brattleboro's Jack Price was one of the team's defensive players.

In the girls Twin State game, Milton's Tatum Shappy scored for Vermont in a 3-1 loss to the Granite Staters. Ashleigh Matsis had a goal and an assist for the victors.
