University News: John P. and Kathrine G. McGovern Medical School graduate

Kendra Diane Williams

Kendra Diane Williams, a 2010 graduate of Hamlin High School, has graduated from the John P. and Kathrine G. McGovern Medical School at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston.

Williams also holds a bachelor of science degree in biomedical sciences and a minor in biochemistry from McMurry University. She is the daughter of Kenneth & Cynthia Williams.

► National Society of Collegiate Scholars induction

Zachary Joseph Garcia, a Cisco College student in Abilene, has been accepted into the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. Garcia will be attending Baylor University in the fall.

► Champlain College dean's list

Brandon L'Abbe, of Winters, has been named to the Champlain College dean's list for the spring semester.
