A winning Powerball ticket worth almost $2 million was sold at the California-Nevada border.
The winning ticket, which was sold at the Primm Valley Lotto Store, matched five numbers in Wednesday’s drawing — 7, 4, 14, 59 and 46 — to claim $1,999,845. The ticket was only missing the red Powerball number 22, California Lottery officials said in a release.
The store, located just across the Nevada border in California, is next door to the Primm Valley casino and the Fashion Outlets of Las Vegas in Primm. The store is about 40 miles south of the Strip.
The identity of the winner will not be known until the prize is claimed.
Primm Valley Lotto will receive a $9,999 bonus just for selling the ticket.
