Though it poses no immediate risk to the water supply, a new study found drugs in increased concentrations at the wash after big events, including EDC and the NFL draft.
An orderly casino shutdown is planned as employees and families say their last goodbyes to the luxurious Strip property that has stood for nearly 67 years.
The Tropicana closure will take out the third-oldest casino on the Strip – a place with a historic skyline that has a tendency to look different every few decades.
The holiday week weather will primarily mean windy conditions and perhaps some rain in the valley, but could deliver several inches of snow above 7,000 feet in elevation.
