A group of teens is accused of beating up and robbing a man during an apparently random attack in the Corn Hill Neighborhood of Rochester on Thursday.

Officers were called to plaza off Exchange Boulevard near South Plymouth Avenue around 5 p.m. for the attack.

Officers say the teens jumped the man and took items from him. Police say one of the teens appeared to be armed, but it later turned out to be a fake gun.

Police, however, were able to arrest all six suspects, after multiple foot chases.

All are charged with robbery and attempted gang assault.
