Tennessee makes top five for five star receiver Jadon Haselwood

The Vols made the cut.

Jadon Haselwood

Following his visit to Tennessee over the weekend, five-star receiver Jadon Haselwood has named Tennessee is his top five schools. In a post on Twitter, Haselwood named Tennessee, Oklahoma, Florida State, Miami and Georgia as his top five choices.

Haselwood is expected to announce his commitment live at the All-American Bowl on January 5th. The 6-2, 196 pound prospect is the No. 1 rated receiver in the country and the 6th ranked player in the class of 2019, according to 247 Sports.

Tennessee has just one receiver commitment in their 2019 class with four-star Ramel Keyton.

Haselwood decommitted from Georgia back in October, but the Bulldogs are still heavily in the running. Miami leads in crystal ball projections, however. Georgia will get his fifth and final official visit this weekend. He’s visited each of his final schools since decommitting in October.

Haselwood has mentioned in the past how important the offensive system is to him, so it’s notable that Tennessee has yet to hire an offensive coordinator yet. Tennessee has been largely linked to coordinators who run the air raid, so maybe that’s what Pruitt is selling to him late in this process.
