Tennessee has sent out a new 2021 quarterback offer following a camp performance this weekend in Knoxville. Shedeur Sanders impressed the Tennessee coaching staff enough over the last couple of days to earn his offer to play for the Vols.
Sanders is a three-star prospect and the son of former NFL star Deion Sanders. He tweeted out a video announcing his new offer, along with a few highlights from this weekend’s action on the football field. The video features him working from under center and getting direct coaching from Jeremy Pruitt.
Blessed to receive an offer from the University of Tennessee! GOD is AMAZING! Worked very hard for this, Hard work pays off. This is just the beginning! #2 @DemetricDWarren @CoachJPruitt @ChrisWeinke16 @DeionSanders @TCCHFootball @ahart49 @Striving4_ALott pic.twitter.com/SbZXPAs7cN

Sanders is the 339th ranked prospect in the 2021 class and the 17th rated pro-style quarterback. He’s out of Cedar Hill, Texas and plays for Trinity Christian. Last season, Sanders threw for over 2,900 yards and 42 touchdowns while tossing just seven interceptions.
The camp circuit has been good to Sanders, who has also picked up offers from South Carolina and Alabama this spring. Georgia, Florida State, Michigan, Florida and Oregon have all also offered to this point.
Tennessee already has a high profile commitment at the quarterback position for 2020 in four-star Harrison Bailey. The Vols are actually after another, looking to add four-star passer Haynes King to the 2020 class as well.
Add Sanders to the list of future names to file away.
