Fortrose Academy pupils have been brought to book following a survey which included feedback from hundreds of them.

The librarian team within the library at the academy asked pupils late last year about the kinds of books they would like to see in the library.

Network librarian Sya Bruce said: "Based on the survey results, we spent a whopping £1000 on new teen stock, both fiction and non-fiction – be sure to come along to the library and check it out – figuratively and literally!!

"Additionally, we’ve filled our non-fiction section with study guides, exam preparation texts and numerous titles on taking the step from school to adult life, so for all the seniors making that leap, the library is the place to be."
