Vandals sought by Police Scotland officers after Harry Gow bakery sign damaged in Alness High Street

VANDALS are being sought after a high street bakery's sign was damaged on Monday evening.

Officers have appealed for information after the hanging sign was vandalised at Harry Gows on Alness High Street.

"The sign has been struck by an unidentified object and has then fallen to the ground," said a police spokesman.

The incident happened at around 9.20pm.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101, quoting incident NE1825/19, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
