Alness out but new team enters North Caledonian League

ALNESS United have confirmed they will not be playing in the North Caledonian League this season.

But the division will remain at nine teams after Bonar Bridge FC’s application was accepted as they end a decade’s exile.

Despite their withdrawal, Alness, who won the Football Times Cup last season, say they will look to come back at the earliest opportunity.
