Graham secures hat trick of British titles in Wales

Fin Graham became a three-time British champion last weekend by retaining his national title.

Graham was competing at a relatively new circuit at Pembrey Country Park in south Wales, which was hosting the competition for the first time after opening.

It was also the first time that the 20-year-old raced there, but he managed to lead the pack in a tactical race.

The winning position changed hands several times between the top three, before Graham clinched the win ahead of Benjamin Watson in second place and Colin Wallace in third.

Those two put up strong competition, but Graham says he always had confidence that he could take the winning jersey home for another year.

“It’s always nice to race there and call yourself the national champion, and it’s nice to get the jersey for another year as well,” he explained.
