Ross County will welcome Chelsea loanee Nathan Baxter back to Dingwall after he recovers from a shoulder operation.
The Premiership returnees have reached agreement with the English giants on the 20-year-old Londoner’s future after concerns the deal was dead.
Highly-rated Baxter was injured in training with County after returning from impressive displays in tour matches in Holland.
He was set to go head-to-head with ex-Hibs keeper Ross Laidlaw in a battle for the number one jersey, but will now miss the first three to four months of the campaign.
But County announced yesterday they would seek only short-term cover for Baxter, who could be back at Dingwall as early as November.
