Josh Mullin says a fast start made the difference as Ross County saw off Falkirk 2-1 on Tuesday.
County went 2-0 up in 22 minutes against the Bairns, and looked like they were going to cruise to all three points until Zak Rudden scored a penalty right at the end.
That put a spanner in the works, but Ross County were still able to hold on for the win.
The 26-year-old winger says that the Staggies were able to continue their momentum from the Morton win last weekend to make a flying start.
“I felt like we were in control of the game,” Mullin said.
“The first 30 minutes we started brightly, we carried on from where we left off on Saturday."
