Bus Éireann has appointed Stephen Kent as the company's new chief executive, replacing Ray Hernan.
Stephen Kent has been acting CEO at Bus Éireann since last August, and before that he was the company's chief commercial officer for five years.
Prior to joining Bus Éireann, he held key management positions in C&C and Waterford Crystal, along with roles at Guinness Peat Aviation, Bank of Ireland and Waterford Foods.
Mr Kent's appointment follows the conclusion of an independent externally managed search process.
