Former Salem Chamber building demolished
Workers from Less Contracting demolished the former Salem Area Chamber of Commerce building at the corner of State and Lincoln in downtown Salem Tuesday morning. Salem firefighters were on the scene helping to spray down the rubble, with State Street closed briefly as the north side of the structure was removed.
Owner Ben Dickey of Armadillo Development said there are no immediate plans for the property.
